Four Year Plan
A majority of the students completed their Four Year Plans in the past couple of weeks. If students were unable to finish this in class, they were asked to complete the task at home. Below I have posted the directions for completing the plan as well as an example of a completed plan.

What is GCIC?!
River Trail Middle School students will be using the GCIC website to explore careers, plan for high school and college, and learn more about themselves. Gcic.peachnet.edu is a one stop shop where students can take career assessments, search colleges in Georgia and nationwide, learn more about financial aid and much more.
In the 8th grade, students will create a Four Year Plan. This is a way for students to understand Georgia’s graduation requirements, as well as begin to think of electives they wish to take in high school. This plan is in no way their schedule for the next four years. This plan is flexible and can change. When a student has completed their plan they will bring it home to review with parents/guardians.
I will be working with each students' classrooms to assist them in exploring GCIC this year.
Please encourage your student to use the website and ask them to share their progress with you. To login students will have to know their username (s+their student number) and their password (fulton1) which was provided to them at the beginning of the year.
Please email Ms. Woods if you have difficulty signing in or if you have questions.
